Santonio Holmes

Alright, I usually do not change my mind about many things. I am pretty set in my ways for the most part. However, the recent events that took place in my old hometown of Tampa, FL have made me reconsider my opinion on who is the best wide receiver in the NFL. Santonio Holmes' recent performance in Super Bowl XLIII has made me want to completely withdraw my statements about Terrell Owens and Larry Fitzgerald. It takes serious guts to perform like this man did on the biggest stage of all. Some consider the Super Bowl to be the biggest TV event of the year. Your newest Super Bowl MVP is from the greatest college in the United States, THE Ohio State University, home of the Buckeyes. There is a new definition of the Immaculate Reception as Santonio Holmes made an incredible catch by keeping control of the ball and both feet in bounds.

Growing up in Belle Glades, FL, Santonio Holmes had difficulty staying out of trouble. He sold drugs to earn money for "snacks and shoes". After the arrest of one of his friends, Santonio laid down his first "profession" and focused more on sports. Santonio won the state championship with Glades Central High School, earning a scholarship to go be a Buckeye at Ohio State University. As a Buckeye, the duo of Santonio Holmes and Ted Ginn Jr. was nearly unstoppable. As a Steeler, Santonio has wowed Pittsburgh fans with his speed and finesse.

As a result of the Arizona Cardinal's loss, all of the bandwagoners who jumped on Larry Fitzgerald as soon as he started doing well have disappeared. I love the loyal fans of the National Football League. Fairweather fans make me laugh.
