I STRONGLY DISLIKE WHEN PERFECTLY GOOD NFL PLAYERS GET CUT, SYMBOLIZING THE END OF THEIR CAREERS (notice the Declaration of Independence-like capitalization...sorta). The NFL has evolved into a business and I do not like it at all. Not to say that it has always been different. My uncle, Mark Robinson was a pro-bowl caliber strong safety for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for several years before he blew his knee out. He was cut the day after. My father was the same case except he was a running back. I rest my case. If a player makes too much, ask him to take a paycut. If he is a detriment to the team, sit him down and resolve the issue. However, fan favorites should never be released. Maybe traded but to be cut in the NFL is the ultimate insult. I am extremely angry over the events that have occurred over the past few days.
RIP the careers of...
Marvin Harrison (WHATT!?!?!ok, honestly?)
Fred Taylor(maybe, but not really)
Patrick Surtain(really?)
DJ Hackett
Warrick Dunn (i liked him)
Derrick Brooks (%$@#!)
Joey Galloway
Ike Hilliard
Cato June
Deuce McCallister
Marcus Washington
(LIKE 2 SECONDS AGO) Lavernaeus Coles
May they either find another team or retire to Hawaii, forever bitter when the Pro Bowl comes to town...
